How to crochet spike stitch

The spike stitch, also known as the long double crochet or elongated stitch, is a crochet technique that involves working a double crochet into a row or rounds below the current row. This creates a raised stitch that adds a unique texture to your work. The spike stitch is easy to learn and can be used in various ways to create stunning patterns.
