Step 1: 

ch as many as you need for your project,

Start from the 4th ch from the hook, all stitches double crochet

Step 2: 

*5 ch, 1 slip stitch in back loop only in next stitch, repeat from * till the end

Step 3: 

3 ch, continue with double crochet stitches in back loop only till the end

Step 4: repeats step 2

*5 ch, 1 slip stitch in back loop only in next stitch, repeat from * till the end

Repeat steps 2 - 3 till you reach desired length
