I have only good things to say about this great pattern. Very clear stitch by stitch, row by row instruction with clear row by row photographs. I am left-handed so following a pattern is easier than a free YouTube video since I have to reverse the right-handed instruction. It is also easy to review a step no searching. The stitch is flexible, I am using a fingering alone, not the four-strands recommended. I may one day but it looks good in fingering weight yarn. One day I will use the pattern to make the full sweater/shawl for now I am using it in a multi-stitch piece. Finally, the Diamond Tears is not tedious, once familiar you can roll along pretty well. I crochet to make beautiful things but also to relax. Amazing complex stitches can be not relaxing. This one has great impact and is fun
